I felt like the outdated bathtub in the bathroom could use a modern shower cubicle instead. The hotel carries an old-world charm, but honestly, the staff could benefit from a bit more hospitality; it was a bit lacking. The breakfast? Well, let's just say the bread left me wishing for the local bakery's delight. On a brighter note, if you're looking for a place to unwind, the on-site restaurant serves traditional Norwegian dishes every day, which was a pleasant surprise for me and my travel companions. All in all, if you seek comfort with a cozy backdrop, Mehamn Arctic Hotel makes for a decent stay, especially with the opportunity to explore the scenic Finnkirka sea cliff just a short drive away!
