Staying at the Mehamn Arctic Hotel was an experience that had its highs and lows, much like the rugged surroundings of Northern Norway itself. First, let’s talk about the room—spacious and comfortable, it exceeded my expectations with a cozy seating area and free Wi-Fi that made it perfect for blogging about our adventures. I felt like the outdated bathtub in the bathroom could use a modern shower cubicle instead. The hotel carries an old-world charm, but honestly, the staff could benefit from a bit more hospitality; it was a bit lacking. The breakfast? Well, let’s just say the bread left me wishing for the local bakery's delight. On a brighter note, if you're looking for a place to unwind, the on-site restaurant serves traditional Norwegian dishes every day, which was a pleasant surprise for me and my travel companions. All in all, if you seek comfort with a cozy backdrop, Mehamn Arctic Hotel makes for a decent stay, especially with the opportunity to explore the scenic Finnkirka sea cliff just a short drive away!
